Welcome to the open channel associated with the edX course: Disease, Climate Shocks & Wellbeing: A Long History of Social Response to Crisis. If you haven’t checked out the course, you can find it here:

In the course, we looked at series of case studies to understand how dramatic events such as epidemics of disease, or sudden climate shocks impacted society, and how society responded. We also surveyed various historical research methods, and how historians use a variety of tools and methods to put together a clearer picture of what happened in the past. Then we asked learners to develop their own case studies looking at sudden disruptions or shocks in the past and how society responded to them to mitigate the impact to wellbeing.

Here we wanted to make a space for people to share the case studies they developed, or any other articles, information, resources or materials relevant to this question.
