Over the next 5 years EV's may become more expensive due to battery supply chain bottlenecks. Furthermore, the Tesla model of stores rather than dealerships applied across the industry and taking into account the much lower parts market with EV's and with all the automatic crash control systems radically reducing fender benders, we will be seeing dealerships as we know them and autobody shops and garages also going out of business
Fortunately? Auto battery prices may be on the rise due to supply chain issues. Why fortunately? The auto dealership model is on its way out because EV's don't need parts and service much. Add to that crash control systems will greatly reduce the number of fender benders so the whole auto parts, autobody repair industry and auto repair garages will vastly contract and number and jobs
