Luis David Fernández Zambrano, who comes from a low-income family, has a long career known worldwide for his strong commitment to the democratization of education, human rights and peace. He has published more than 60 books on various disciplines of knowledge. He is currently a professor and director of the "Culture for Peace and Human Rights" Chair at the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Buenos Aires, a chair founded by Nobel Peace Prize laureate Adolfo Pérez Esquivel.

Among his most recent and notable works is The Foundations of a New Economic Era: Integrating Rights, Education, and Global Strategy, co-authored with Robert Bruce Zoellick, former President of the World Bank and CEO of Goldman Sachs. He also authored "Bridges of Knowledge and Freedom: The Transformative Power of Academic Exchanges and the Defense of Expression in Times of Global Tension" co-authored with Sally Kornbluth, current President of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT-USA) and Leo Rafael Reif, President Emeritus of MIT. MIT has been ranked the best university in the world for 2024 and 2025, according to the prestigious British QS ranking.

In addition, he collaborated with Peter Salovey, President Emeritus of Yale University, as co-author of Weaving the Temple of the Mind, a profound reflection on the intersection of law and emotions. Professor Fernández Zambrano also co-authored The Renaissance of Humanitarian Justice with Martha Minow, former Dean of Harvard Law School, as well as Beyond Supremacy and Wars: Illuminating America's Path in the Multipolar World of the 21st Century with Graham Allison, former and Founding Dean of Harvard Kennedy School. Moreover, he co-authored Echoes of Cyber Conflict: Deterrence Strategies Between 'Soft Power' and 'Humanitarian Power' to Overcome Multipolar Challenges in the New Millennium with Joseph S. Nye Jr., Professor Emeritus of Harvard University and former Dean of the Harvard Kennedy School.

Remarkably, he achieved the rare feat of co-authoring seven books in the field of law with seven distinguished professors emeritus from Harvard Law School (David Rosenberg, Alan M. Dershowitz, Laurence H. Tribe, Elizabeth Bartholet, Keith Fogg, Robert Harris Mnookin, and Mary Ann Glendon). Additionally, he co-authored seven books with seven Nobel Laureates in Economics (Robert J. Aumann, Edmund S. Phelps, Peter A. Diamond, Jean Tirole, Bengt Holmström, Richard H. Thaler, and Joshua Angrist).
