Former Hubert H. Humphrey Fellow at SPURS/DUSP
Architect and urban planner specialized in watershed management and environmental assessment holds a Master from UnB, an ABD Master at UFOP/Unesco Hidroex, and is actually a Ph.D. Candidate at UnB Geography Department carrying out studies related to conflict prevention over water on transboundary river basins, focusing mostly on Amazon Region. Liliana is a former Fulbright Humphrey Fellow at SPURS/MIT and SPA/CU-Denver. She holds experiences in the private sector, Academia, NGOs, and as a Civil Servant on several institutions and positions over more than 30 years of work experience developing policies, plans, and projects related to water, sanitation, and environmental conservation and management. Actually co-chairing the Climate Justice Cluster at OLAC and the Interest group on Water at the Environmental Peacebuilding (EnPAx) and coordinating the Global Agenda Technical Chamber at IAUB, among other volunteering works for WWF9, MBBI, and MACA.
