Jeremy Grace
SB, Physics, MIT; MS & PhD, Physics, University of Illinois
After completing a Doctorate in Low Temperature Physics, Jeremy became interested in thin-film science and technology. His career includes industrial R&D in the areas of plasma modification of polymers, adhesion science and technology, organic vapor deposition, reactive sputter deposition, atomic layer deposition, and micro-droplet generation. At IDEX Health & Science, he designs thin-film interference filters for Life Sciences applications and works on manufacturing processes for production of interference filters. He created and taught a short course on Plasma Modification of Polymers for the Society of Vacuum Coaters (SVC) and more recently he created and taught a short course on Design of Experiments for R&D for the SVC.
