Sealed Lead Acid Replacement Battery
Sealed Lead Acid (SLA) batteries and Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) batteries share similar technology, but their main distinction is in how they store electrolytes. SLA batteries store their electrolyte in a liquid form, while AGM batteries store them in a saturated glass mat. Although SLA batteries are more cost-effective than AGM batteries, the latter has a lifespan that can be up to five times longer than lead-acid batteries.
