I am a Lecturer and researcher in the Mechanical Engineering department and a Fellow of the MITx Digital Learning Laboratory. As the former Director of the Principles of Manufacturing MicroMasters Program, I facilitated a team of faculty and instructors to develop content and innovate manufacturing education at MIT using digital technology. My current research is in engineering education, the development of open-ended assessments in scalable education settings, and the design of medical devices.
